Aftercare
Recovery is an ongoing process that benefits from ongoing support. One month of outpatient aftercare is included in all of our packages to help you ease back into life post detox and rehab. Aftercare is available regardless of where you live- meetings with our counsellors will be conducted online via a video conferencing program such as Zoom. For those interested in long-term support, our team will link you up with the most appropriate professionals and services in your local area. Before returning to Bendigo, we can also help you identify likely triggers, create a practical transition plan and arrange appropriate ongoing support closer to home.
Who will know you’ve been to rehab?
SDR ensures a high level of confidentiality and privacy for our clients.
Your records will be anonymous – they will not be listed with Medicare or eHealth portals, nor will they be shared with private health or Income Protection insurers. We are a strictly paper-only service- your medical records are not recorded in any database. You can choose to use an alias when you stay with us. We are also happy to take cash payments or bank cheques so that there is no banking record. Receiving care outside Bendigo may also offer an additional layer of privacy for professionals, business owners and others who are concerned about being recognised within their local community.
